Associate of Arts

The Studio Arts degree is designed to prepare students to enter a bachelor degree in art or run an art gallery or studio. Students must successfully submit for adjudication a portfolio reflecting the work completed in the required courses to attain this degree.
Upon completion students will be able to:
- Apply general and specific skills needed to be successful as a working studio artist.
- Evaluate their artwork targeting areas of needed improvement and noting areas illustrating skill.
- Create a portfolio that demonstrates their own aesthetic style developed from a foundation of historically prominent schools of thought.
